The Nagavanshis of Kerala

A blog on the Nāgarah (नागर:/നാഗരഃ) community, Nagavanshi Nair community, of Kerala. Nāgarahs are Nairs of Brahmin race. A strictly religious, monogamous, endogamous, and pure Hindu-Sanātani community. The community's history is given in Keralolpaththi and Keralamāhāthmyam. They are known as Kiriyathil Nairs in Malabar and Illathu Nairs in Travancore.
